alias Authentica, Indulgentiae, Poenosa, Sancta, ultima hebdomas Gr. Ε῾βδομὰς μεγάλη, vide hebdomas maior. Colitur haec maxime ab Orientalibus Christianis, et Aethiopibus; apud quos praecipue Nobiles totâ hac hebdomade pullis induti vestibus, parum loquuntur ac raro domo exeunt, Godign. l. 1. c. 19. Eâ durante campanam cessare usum, earumqueve loco tabulam ligneam percuti, dicemus infra in voce Tabula.
